Hobbs

Coach

Dr Max Hobbs has been part of the CAIA family for the past five years, training extensively in Boxing and Kickboxing. His martial arts journey began early in life with Judo, where he competed at a state level and placed third as a finalist. He later broadened his skills by earning a Green Belt in Ninjutsu and has since achieved an Orange Belt in Krav Maga.

Alongside his martial arts experience, Max is passionate about fitness, nutrition, and coaching others to achieve their personal best. He previously worked as a strength and conditioning coach, where he helped a range of clients build strength, resilience, and confidence. His professional background also reflects a strong commitment to excellence, having completed a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Science with Honours at the University of Western Australia. He also has a medical degree (MBBS) from St George’s University of London, and currently works as a Doctor.

Max’s approach to martial arts and fitness is built around continuous improvement, supporting others, and maintaining a positive and hard working mindset. His technical knowledge, combined with years of striking experience and a passion for helping others, make him a valued member of the CAIA community.
